The Solamar Condominium was built in 1986. It offers spacious residences and tremendous views of the Gulf of Mexico and Venetian Bay. Solamar Condominium is comprised of 107 residential units with six units per floor. Floor plans range from 1,710 - 2,250 square feet of living area. Solamar offers a 24-hour security guard at the front desk and a manager for your peace of mind. Amenities at the Solamar include a beachfront pool and spa, poolside barbecue and kitchen facilities, tennis courts, a billiards room, fitness facilities, a large social room, and much more. Two guest suites are available for your use. Each owner has at least one space in the covered parking garages, and some units come with two spaces.

Pets under 30 pounds are allowed. Rental policy dictates a maximum of two lease terms per year, each at least 90 days long.

Solamar has undergone some recent improvements that include a new roof, a fresh coat of paint on the outside of the building, a renovated pool deck and new spa, and new pavers in the parking lots. All residents have access to the private 1-1/4 mile lighted Park Shore Beach promenade. All owners have the opportunity to purchase or lease a boat slip at the Venetian Bay Yacht Club.
